The Mirond Lake Wellness Camp is a new 4,200 sq. ft. wellness facility located in Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan for Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation. The project features a large log-structured building elevated above the natural terrain with a crawlspace foundation, expansive covered deck areas, exposed timber construction, and a standing seam metal roof designed to complement the surrounding landscape. The facility includes wellness and gathering spaces, accessible washrooms, mechanical and support areas, and integrated site development tailored to the remote northern location. The project required detailed coordination of structural log systems, concrete foundations founded on bedrock, mechanical and electrical infrastructure, and specialized wood framing to deliver a durable and community-focused wellness facility.
